Well, it's been a few months with nothing but silence. We're making great progress on the album, we stalled a bit during the summer but we are back on track. We have a bunch of rough mixes and it's coming together great.
We can see the end in sight finally, and we hope it's worth the wait. We've been working on some of the songs in the studio and that's been taking up some of our time. After the holidays are over we will have some new music for you to hear.
You've heard that from us before, we know. We'll try to be better at keeping you in the loop. All the drum tracks are done except for 1 song, and most of the rhythm guitars and bass have been tracked. We have about 4 songs of vocals left to track.
The leads need to be finished, but the scratch sounds killer. Lukes cover art concept has gone through a few different looks, and it's shaping up to be sick as hell. The final album will contain 13 tracks. We did a photo shoot on Sept 19th check out a pic below © of Tom Woll Photography.

What's up, been awhile since we've let you know what the hell is going on. We're still working on the album, the recording process is going a bit slower then we hoped but it's sounding heavy as hell. We've got 13 tracks we're recording for it, we'll see if it all makes it to the final product or what happens to them.
We've also decided to put this out on our own, so we won't be going through Deka Records. This will still be available on CD and online to download from iTunes (USA for sure) and probably Amazon.com, so don't worry about that shit.
We're planning on doing a photoshoot in the next few weeks, so you'll get to see some new shots and we'll have something for the CD. We'll upload some shit here and on our Myspace page. We hope to relaunch threatenol.com around the time the CD drops.
When the hell are you playing live again?" We've been getting this question a lot, and if we knew for sure you'd see it here. We've had a few offers, but we told ourselves we were gonna hold off until this shit is recorded...we want to play out, but we want to be ready and focused...look for us and new music this fall you metal fux.

So much for providing updates, but we actually have some news now. We've started tracking the drums for the album, so it's finally starting to take shape!
We aren't exactly sure what will or won't be on it, but it will be some brutal shit for sure. We've also signed to a small independent label, Deka Records.
You can check them out at DekaRecords.com. This will be available as a CD and online. We will continue to update

We've been slow on updating this site, for some reason we've been keeping the Myspace community updated better. Anyway we had a great summer with some awesome shows.
Our last show in Sept. in LeMars was a great time and we had a good turnout. Thanks to 66 Crush and Somewhere Between Heaven and Hell for sharing the stage with us.
We will probably have one or two more shows before the end of the year, we are focusing on writing new material so we can record a full length.
We've finished up music on another one yesterday and have enough ideas for at least 7-8 more to choose from. We hope to have a spring or summer release. Stay tuned!
